I am pursuing a career in the medical field. Before going on to medical school I plan to enroll in a 4-year college and major in public health or health administration. I believe that understanding the foundation of the medical care system will allow me to make a significant impact. My motivation to do this is to advocate for underrepresented groups in health care.

After my project manager position I was promoted to Senior Analyst. My duties as Senior Analyst are to teach the current Project Managers my previous tasks and advocate for improvement within our Harbor SEALs program. This has now turned into a paid internship. This year's project is supported and funded by the Hudson River Foundation and ConEdison. We are monitoring marine pollution in the NY Harbor. Follow our progress on our Instagram: @harborseals
I began Harbor SEALs in Nov. 2018 and was soon promoted to project manager. This position taught me to navigate spreadsheets, write progress reports for sponsors, create agendas, lead team meetings, and understand large data sets. In this position specifically, I explored air quality data of all 5 boroughs.
A Thai food stand I worked for over the summer. This was my first customer service job. I learned how to promote items, work a register, and memorize and execute company recipes.
As a way to build community the New York Harbor School has a week-long summer orientation event for incoming students. I served as an administrator of the program, a facilitator of team-building activities, and an organizer of documents such as daily attendance sheets and t-shirt sales spreadsheets.
+Pool is a company based in NYC working to create the first ever floating water monitoring pool. To give back to the community they offer free swim lessons to low income elementary students. I worked for the company as an education summer intern. My job was to create spreadsheets for attendance and inventory. I also facilitated swim classes and talked to children about the importance of the bodies of water surrounding NYC.
