I began focusing on scientific research in my Sophomore year of high school 2019-2020. I researched plastic-degrading bacterial strains and went on to explore the correlation between microorganisms and micro debris. As of 2021, I have been researching alongside Dr. Robert Hasson III, Ph.D., LICSW, exploring the relationship between mental and medical distress within the refugee population.
